Currently finishing my Master’s degree in Tourism Development of Cultural Sites at Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne University, I am looking for an internship in Napa Valley.

Let me introduce myself: my name is Marion, I’m French and I’m 23 years old. I was born in Bordeaux and I have lived most of my life in the Médoc area. I grew up in the middle of vineyards, and therefore developed strong interest for oenology and wine production. A year and half ago, I did an internship in wine tourism at Château Gruaud Larose in Saint-Julien appellation for six month: this internship was instructive, this is where I learned the most, meeting new people from all over the world and sharing all of knowledge was really enlightening. Last summer, I did an internship at the Council of Grands Crus Classés 1855 with Mr Sylvain Boivert, the director. I was in touch with all of the Grands Crux Classés and my principal mission was to communicate about and for them, without forgetting their prestige and their standing.

This year, I’m looking for a wine tourism internship to validate my Master’s degree, but also because I am comparing the two Great Wine Capitals, Bordeaux and Napa Valley, for my final year dissertation. Doing this internship in Napa will be the perfect place to understand how Californian wine is produced, managed ans traded worldwide, also because I never had the chance to live in another country for a long time, what would be a fructifying experience for me.

If my profile is interesting for your company, don’t hesitate to contact me at [email protected]
I can start the internship in the middle of March 2020, for 3 to 6 month.

Best,
Marion GUILLAUME
